2010 West Lancashire Borough Council Elections

25th April 2010

Dear Fellow Resident,

I have been privileged to be your councillor for six years. During my time as your councillor I have dealt with numerous issues for local residents and I would like to feel that I have always returned a call and given constructive advice on any matters referred to me.

I was born in Lancashire and moved to Tarleton 27 years ago. I reside in Gorse Lane with my wife. I have two grown up children and four grand children. I am vice chairman of Tarleton Parish Council having served on the Parish Council for six years. I am a former Police Officer having retired ten years ago.

Your Priorities Are My Priorities:

  1. I want Tarleton to be the nicest, cleanest, most well kept and safest part of West Lancashire.
  2. want to help provide council services that are of a very high quality, but affordable to all. In these difficult economic times, I want to ensure that our front line services are maintained and not cut back.
  3. I want to see Council Tax rates kept to a minimum and our taxes spent in a responsible manner. Most importantly,
  4. I want to continue to be a visible and friendly local councillor and a strong voice for our community.

I will always campaign to ensure that:

  • West Lancashire is a great place to live.
  • We enjoy excellent and affordable front line services.
  • Our Council Tax rates are kept as low as possible.

I hope that on Thursday 6 May, you will support me with your vote so that I can continue to work for you.

Kind Regards,

James J Kay
Conservative Council Candidate for Tarleton & Mere Brow Ward

P.S. If you have any issues or concerns, or you wish to help with my campaign please phone 01772 814834.

Promoted by JJ Kay of 6 Enterprise House, Whitestake, Lancs PR4 4BA on his own behalf
