South Ribble - 5th May 2005 A
message from LORRAINE FULLBROOK
On May
5th you will have the chance to elect your MP
for the next 5 years. It is clear from all the
polls that here in this constituency, either our
current Labour MP will win, or that I will be
given the chance to represent you in Parliament.
You will
see in the papers and in the media the policies
of the different parties. These will no doubt
play a big part in deciding how you vote. However,
I also want you to know what I personally stand
for.
This
can be summarised as follows: -
I
want a zero tolerance approach to violent crime
I
want low taxes
I
want choice and quality for parents in education
and patients in healthcare
I
want a Parliament that is not a lapdog of the
Government and I want Government off people’s
backs
I
want pensioners to live the remainder of their
lives in dignity and peace
I
want government imposed initiatives and centralisation
stopped
I
want this country to be a safe haven for genuine
asylum seekers, and not a soft touch for economic
migrants
I
want to see an end to the un-elected, self appointed
bodies that are invading so much of our lives
under Labour
In
particular I want to fight and defeat the proposed
Regional Assembly and the EU Constitution that
Mr Blair loves so much!
I want to see a Britain which has the self respect
and pride to say, we’re the fourth largest
economy in the world and under no circumstances
will we give up our currency, our sovereignty
and our history
If
elected to represent you in Parliament these are the
principles, which will govern my actions.
