HESKETH BANK UNDER 8`S (2008/09) SQUAD PHOTO

Hesketh Bank u8`s are a newly formed team of ten boys and a girl of which six have not played in a team before. We play in a 7 a side friendly league on Penwortham Holme near Preston each Saturday morning. We train indoors at Tarleton High School Sports Hall on Friday nights between 6-7pm. Our wet tops and kits were generously sponsored by Huntapac, to who we are very grateful. If you would like to come and join us ring me - Neil Wareing on 07738 093 439. As we are not allowed by the FA to publish match results reports will be done on a monthly basis, consisting of goal scorers, match statistics and goal of the month etc.

With last two matches cancelled due to rain, we have only played two games this month, against Preston Pirates and Penwortham St Teresa`s. Both games were played in great spirit and were a joy to watch.

GOALSCORERS THIS MONTH - Adam 2, Charlie 1.

RUNNING TOTAL - Adam 4, Charlie 3, Ethan and Matthew F 1.

Charlie and Adam - 2, Ethan and Matthew F. - 1.

MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER OF SEPTEMBER - George
